Spiral the musical illuminates a new kind of hope and quantum spiritual worldview that is undeniably emerging on the planet through the current haze of environmental destruction and human suffering. Everything can change if enough people embrace a unified worldview, and we believe that the music and story of Spiral has a role to play. It’s a story full of heart and passion – a journey into the magnificence of the natural world, ancient wisdom, quantum science and human potential.
We have partnered with the Pentacle Theatre community to continue to develop the creative elements of the script and score. We're thrilled to partner with Pentacle Theatre who shares our passion for bringing this timely and transformational story to life.
Pentacle Theatre staged its first show "Blithe Spirit" in 1954 in a barn which exists to this day, near the theater, off Hwy 22. The current theater was built largely by volunteers starting in 1962, and in 2024 celebrates its 70th year and 600th show.
Pentacle Theatre is uniquely structured to work with the creators of "SPIRAL: the musical" as the Pentacle community of talented volunteer actors, directors and behind the scenes crew personnel possess the skills and creativity to bring new, fresh and creative energy to the workshopping process.
Pentacle Theatre is not a "community theater" in the way the term is commonly understood. Pentacle Theatre is a not-for-profit 501c3 corporation, an independently owned artistic collective comprised of groups of volunteers with unique talents and skills that come together to create and present a full season every year. Each show is supported by volunteers with whom the director has built a working collaborative relationship. These volunteers are actors, musicians, costumers, stage managers, prop masters, lighting, projection and sound designers and all areas of stage craft that are required for each production.
Unlike many community theaters who are largely supported by public infrastructure which provides facilities, utility and other support, Pentacle Theatre is entirely independent, and is responsible for 100% of the financial support of its facility, its maintenance, monthly expenses and administration. It's unique organizational structure along with the support of its patrons, donors and members have made Pentacle Theatre an ongoing success for over 70 years.
